My roommate Ana became an aunt to twins Tom and Loti! She asked me to do a card. It was a challenge for me because I have never done cards for newborn twins. Last week I ordered some books from amazon.de and I asked her if it is OK if I do something diffrent, so I borrowed the template from a book :)
I made two "cards" (sorry I don't know the english expression) :( which you can put on the door of the room or on a shelf if you want.
I decided to do pink(rosa) for a girl and blue/green for a boy...normally I dislike doing pink/blue cards for newborn babies :)
I made almost everything with a white paper, coloring with distress inks. For pattern I used HA stamp - to add some playfull touch :) I cut the ribbon and made bows for "shoes" and I wrote the letters, cut them and paste on the "mini board" :)
Hope my english is readable :)) hahaha
I made this with:
- distress ink: stormy sky, vintage photo, peeled paint, weathered wood, victorian velvet, aged mahagony, antique linen, milled lavender
- HA stamp : Flower dot pattern
- little flower punch
- Angelika Kipp book
I have created this also for Cutting & Trimming Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
I would also like to thank Vladka for telling me where can I buy these interesting/creative books.
Simon says challenge - stripes and/or spots
